18 Suitable for adults. No one younger than 18 may see 18-rated content in a cinema.

Accessible film screenings

Subject to programming commitments, Broadway Cinema is proud to endeavour to accommodate accessible screenings when film scheduling allows

Captioned film screenings are available on selected screenings at the Broadway Cinema, enabling people who are hard of hearing to enjoy films and events more regularly.

Next Captioned Screening: We Live in Time Sunday 12th January 4:30pm

At a relaxed screening sound levels are reduced and lights are at a low level so the cinema is not in complete darkness. There are no trailers or advertisements before the film starts and customers are free to move around the cinema or take a break.

Next Relaxed Screening: Moana 2 Sunday 12th January 1:30pm

Details of subtitled or relaxed screenings in the Broadway Cinema are listed on this page. You can also contact the box office on 01624 600555 or email villagaiety@gov.im for more information.

Assistive Listening facilities available for Hard of Hearing (HoH) customers

For cinema customers who are hard of hearing, the cinema has an induction loop available. Please note that depending on the type of hearing aid, the user may need to switch their hearing aid to the ‘T’ position to use these systems.

Additionally, the cinema has six multi-purpose headsets which are available for most of our main feature films. These headsets have a Hearing Impaired (switch device button to A) and an Audio Description (switch device button to B) option. The Hearing-impaired option is for use with certain hearing aids. The Audio Description option is for customers with a visual impairment. A recorded narrator explains what is happening on screen through personal headphones.

If possible, we politely request that customers who wish to use these headsets should contact the Villa Reception on 694500, 24 hours in advance of their visit to the cinema, so we can ensure the projection and door staff on duty are aware of any request.
